Rooted in Soweto. Called to serve.

J Ross is the stage name of Jamela John Ross Vuma, a South African gospel singer, songwriter, worship leader and music producer. Born in Pimville, Soweto, he grew up surrounded by music and began creating it as a child.

His journey has taken him from recording studios and television soundtracks to church platforms and township stages. Today, his work brings together worship, storytelling and a heart for young people.
